Debating again
It was really amzing to figure out that Cherry and I finally won the debating . Just image there were such great old debaters and excellent new debaters , how difficult it might be to win a game. Today is my luck day because god appreciate our debating.
I also learned a lot from today’s debating ,
1. As the opposition what need to do is tie down goverments’ case rather to have your own case. It is a common sense that tie down a pointview is much more easier than to put up a pointview.
So , catch up with the main opints and aruge with that .
2. The importance of defination . The most important person of the whole debating might be the government leader. Only the government leader has the right to make a definition of the topic. And the importance of definition might be a large part of the debating . If you define the topic too narrow so that the oppostion might thought it is undebatable ,while , if you define the topic too wide or unclearly is might be very easy for the opposition to argue your opints.
And as the oppsition side , if the government’s definition is not very clear ,and during the first round both of the sides paid much time on the definition , ,you could say “we reminded the government said to give us a clear definition about this key word , but they failed so we think that the definition is ……” In that way your opposition can get the adventage.
3. The most important thing in debating is clear about your duty , you should know as the position you stands what’s the tasks you have to finish and by which way you can finish that. By clarifying that , it would be helpful to a debater.
4. Clash . For the opposition’s last debater’s task is to make a conclusion ,equally is the clashes. That means you need to make a conclusion of the key questions both sides argue about .Point out the problems exist in government’s presentation and your sides’（外语学习 www.suzhoujiajiaow.com ） adventage than them . By comparing to persuade the audience your value is better than government.
Well , those are all what I have learned from debating , mostly are some little tips , the more important factor is practising . Practise makes perfect
