In recent years, late marriage has become a widespread phenomenon among young people, according to a survey by XINHUANET.com, there is a sharp increase in the number of the people who are in late marriage .And the survey indicates that the male average age at marriage is 28 yeas old while the female is 27.
However, what might account for late marriage? There are several factors contributing to this phenomenon.
For one thing, as the education level continuously improved, more and more people attend to the university .And most of them even go on pursuing a post-graduate degree after undergraduate. After they post graduate, they are almost 26 or 27 years old. Some of them also want to get a doctor’s degree. Thus, they are getting married older.

In my view, effective measures should be taken to cope with the problem. First of all, government tries to offer more job opportunities to relieve the employment pressure. So that young people have more time to think about their marriage. Besides, some lectures related to happy families can be given to young people. It may make them eager to get married.
